Dragan Stošić is a painter from Smederevo, Serbia. He was born there in 1956 and has spent most of his life in the town. He has been painting since childhood and is entirely self-taught — everything he knows, he learned by looking, trying and never giving up.
A devoted admirer of realism and classical painting, he works in acrylic on canvas, patiently, layer by layer, until the painting starts to breathe. He paints landscapes, birds and still life, and is currently preparing his first exhibitions in Smederevo.
I paint what I see, but above all, what I feel while I am looking.
